Bulk Update WHM Tax Status
Form ID: (MP.PP.50.09)
The Bulk Update WHM Tax Status form lets update employees' tax scale in historical pays,
for employees who are on the Working Holiday Makers (WHM) tax scale. While the WHM tax scale
came into effect from 1 January 2017, it wasn't available until the 2017.1.3 compliance
release, so employees could only be assigned the WHM tax scale for pays that were started
after this version became available. This form lets you edit historic pays for employees who
should have been using the WHM tax scale, so that you can retrospectively assign them the
correct tax scale.
Note:
Before using this form, make sure to update the tax scales of all
WHM employees on the Pay Details (MP.PP.23.10) form. Only employees
whose tax scales are currently "WHM" will appear on this form. In the rare case that an
employee was on the WHM tax scale and moved off it between 1 January 2017 and 31 June
2017, you will need to change their tax scale to WHM, use this form to update the
historical pays where they were on the WHM scale, then change the tax scale back to their
current scale.
