Payroll: Multi-Company Pay Super Improvements

For now, Pay Super for multi-company setups is only available as part of an early access program (EAP). We’ll let you know when these improvements and other EAP features introduced in 2025.2.3 are available for everyone.
Note: As part of making multi-company Pay Super available, all sites must review their superannuation payment setup – even if you only use Pay Super for a single site or if you use the SAFF method. For more details, see Setting up multi-company Pay Super in our online knowledge base.

Improved Performance for Superannuation Payment Preferences

We've fixed the long load times that could affect the Pay Superannuation tab of the Payroll Preferences form (MPPP1100). This mainly affected sites with a large number of companies.

When you first upgrade to 2026.1.1, click the new Sync Company Preferences action to fill in the table. The information in the table stays the same until the next time you sync. You should sync company preferences whenever a new entity is added to your site.

Clearer Warnings About Missing Payment Method

After upgrading to a version that supports multi-company Pay Super, you might get warnings about no payment method being set when creating a superannuation batch. With version 2026.1.1, we’ve worded these warnings more clearly. They now tell you to complete your payment method setup on the Pay Superannuation tab of the Payroll Preferences form (MPPP1100).

These warnings occur because, as part of making multi-company Pay Super available, all sites must review their superannuation payment setup – even if you only use Pay Super for a single site or if you use the SAFF method.
