MYOB Acumatica 2026.1.201 Release Notes
The 2026.1.201 release lets more users take advantage of AI Assistant chat, while still letting administrators control exactly who has access.
AI Assistant Available to More Licence Types
Previously, AI Assistant was only available for the Full User, Executive User and MYOB Partner licence types.
Now, AI Assistant chat is also available to the following licence types:
- External Account User
- Field Service Technician
- Finance User
- Manufacturing User
- Sales & CRM User
- Service Manager
- Warehouse User
- Finance and Admin User (for Professional Services edition)
For a user with one of these licence types to get access, an administrator needs to assign them the AI Assistant User role on the User Roles form (SM201005). This role lets users access the AI Assistant chat window, but not any configuration settings (like exposing generic inquiries).
For users with multiple licence types, they can access AI Assistant chat if they have
at least one of the licence types listed above.
Note:
If someone only has
the People User or Employee User licence types, they cannot use AI
Assistant chat. We will be adding access for payroll administrators in a future
release.
