By using this form, you can review data on material availability in real time and make informed production planning decisions.

Form Toolbar

The form toolbar includes only standard buttons. For the list of standard buttons, see Form Toolbar and More Menu.

Selection Area

You can use the settings in this area to narrow the range of production orders listed in the table. The elements of this area are summarized below.

Element Description
Order Type The type of production orders for which information is displayed in the table. In this box, you can select a particular order type to view information only for orders of this type or leave this box blank to view information for all order types.
Warehouse

The warehouse for which information is displayed in the table. In this box, you can select a particular warehouse to view information only for this warehouse or leave this box blank to view information for all warehouses.

This box is available only if the Multiple Warehouses feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

Table

In this table, you can view a list of open production orders and assess whether they can be initiated based on material availability.

Column Description
Order Type The type of the production order.
Production Nbr. The reference number of the production order.
Inventory ID The identifier of the stock item being manufactured.
Warehouse The warehouse specified in the production order.
Status The status of the production order.
Start Date The date on which the item production for the production order should start.
End Date The date on which the item production for the production order should be completed.
Qty. to Produce The item quantity that is initially intended to be produced.
Qty. Ready to Produce

The item quantity that can be produced based on the Qty. Hard Available for the material. This quantity may range between zero (no available materials or materials are available to start only the first operation) and the Qty. to Produce (all materials are available to produce the required quantity).

If the production order is integrated with projects (that is, the Update Project check box is selected on the Production Order Maintenance form), this quantity is calculated based on the Qty. Hard Available linked with the project of each production material.

Readiness to Produce

The readiness status of the production order that indicates whether the order can be initiated based on material availability. Color coding highlights the readiness of production orders, particularly those with insufficient materials for production.

The following readiness statuses are available:

  • Ready to Produce (dark green): All materials are available to produce the remaining quantity.
  • Partially Ready to Produce (light green): Materials are sufficient to produce a portion of the remaining quantity.
  • Ready to Start (yellow): Materials are available to complete the first operation.
  • Not Ready (red): Materials are insufficient to complete the first operation.
Qty. Remaining The remaining quantity of the item units to be produced.
Qty. Complete The quantity of the item units that have been completed.
Qty. Scrapped The quantity of item units that have been recorded as scrap in labor or move transactions for the production order.
Schedule Status

The schedule status of the production order.

This column is displayed only if the Advanced Planning and Scheduling feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

Customer ID The customer specified in the linked sales order.
Order Type The type of the sales order whose line is assigned to the production order.
Order Nbr. The reference number of the sales order whose line is assigned to the production order.
BOM ID The identifier of the linked bill of material (BOM).
BOM Revision The revision of the linked bill of material.
WIP Total The sum of all the costs that have been applied to the production order.
Product Order Type The production order type assigned to the top-level production order that requires the item to be produced as a subassembly for one of the materials or its subassemblies.
Product Production Nbr. The reference number of the top-level production order that requires the item to be produced as a subassembly for one of the materials or its subassemblies.
Parent Order Type The production order type assigned to the parent production order that requires the item to be produced as a subassembly for one of the materials or its subassemblies.
Parent Production Nbr. The reference number of the parent production order that requires the item to be produced as a subassembly for one of the materials or its subassemblies.
Source The source entity whose details the system copied to the production order when the order was created.

Side Panel

By using the side panel, you can view information related to the production order.

The side panel has multiple tabs, each of which you can view by clicking the tab's icon. These tabs are described below.

Tab Description
Critical Materials The Critical Materials (AM401000) form, which displays the list of the materials of the current production order that are not available in stock. This tab enables you to create supply records for addressing material shortages.
Production Tickets The Production Ticket (AM625000) report, which you can use to print necessary documents for production orders being released into production.
Production Order Maintenance The Production Order Maintenance (AM201500) form, which displays information for the current production order. This tab provides quick access to additional production information for detailed review.
