This form is available only when the Advanced Planning and Scheduling feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

On this form, you can view the production schedule in a graphical format. The schedule for the production orders that meet the selection criteria is displayed over time as a Gantt chart. You can adjust the timescale, assign color coding of chart bars, and view missed commitment dates. In addition, you can reschedule and firm production orders directly on this form.

Form Toolbar

The form toolbar includes standard and form-specific buttons and commands. For the list of standard buttons, see Form Toolbar and More Menu. The form-specific commands are listed in the following table.

Command Description
Firm Firms the production orders selected on the Production Orders tab of the upper pane. You can firm only production orders that have already been scheduled.
Schedule Schedules the production orders selected on the Production Orders tab of the upper pane.
Undo Firm Undoes the firm action for the production orders selected on the Production Orders tab of the upper pane. You can perform this command for only production orders that were firmed previously.

Selection Area

In this area, you can specify the selection criteria for production orders to be displayed on the form and the settings for the color scheme of the diagram.

Table 1. Filters SectionIn this section, you specify any selection criteria you want to use to narrow the range of production orders listed on the form.
Element Description
Warehouse The warehouse specified in the settings of the production orders to be displayed on the form.
Order Type The type of the production orders to be displayed.
Production Nbr. The reference number of the production order whose schedule is displayed on the form.
Production Order Status The status of the production order. If you specify a particular status in this box, the system displays only production orders with this status.
Schedule Status The scheduling status of the production orders displayed on the form, which is one of the following:
  • Scheduled: The production orders that have been scheduled
  • Firm: The firm production orders
  • Both (default): Both the scheduled production orders and the firm production orders
Product Workgroup The product workgroup to which the production order is assigned.
Product Manager The product manager to whom this production order is assigned for processing.
Include Orders on Hold A check box that you select if you would like the system to display production orders with the Hold check box selected on the Production Order Maintenance (AM201500) form in addition to production orders that are not on hold.
Table 2. Additional Filters SectionIn this section, you specify additional selection criteria to be applied to production orders.
Element Description
Inventory ID The identifier of the item to be produced. If you select a value in this box, the system displays only production orders for this item.
Sales Order Type The type of sales orders. If you select the value in this box, the system does the following:
  • Displays only orders of this type in the SO Order Nbr. box
  • Displays only the production orders linked to sales orders of this type
Sales Order Nbr. The reference number of a sales order that has a linked production order. If you select the value in this box, the system displays only the production order linked to this sales order.
Customer The customer specified in sales orders that have linked production orders. If you select a particular customer, the system displays production orders that are linked to sales orders requested by this customer.
Table 3. Date Range SectionIn this section, you specify the range of the creation dates of production orders to be displayed on the form.
Element Description
From The start date of the date range.
To The end date of the date range.

Element Description
Color Coding The setting of a production order that the system uses for bar colors on the diagram; that is, a specific color is used for each setting value. You can select any of the following:
  • Order Type
  • Work Center
  • Production Order Status
  • Dispatch Priority
  • Firm Schedule

Upper Pane: Production Orders Tab

On the Production Orders tab of the upper pane, you can view production orders and the Gantt chart for each production order. On the toolbar of the pane, you can change the timescale and the pane view, for details, see Advanced Planning and Scheduling: Production Schedule Board.

Table 5. Table Columns
Column Description
Selected A check box you can select to indicate that the production order should be included in the processing based on the command that you click on the form toolbar.
Type The production order type.
Production Nbr. The reference number of the production order.
Inventory ID The identifier of the stock item to be produced by using the production order.
Dispatch Priority The dispatch priority of the production order.
Constraint The date of either starting production or finishing production of the item in the production order, depending on the scheduling method specified on the Production Order Maintenance (AM201500) form.
Firm Schedule A check box that indicates (if selected) that the production order has been firmed.

Lower Pane

On the tabs of the lower pane, you can view the work centers and machines involved in production and the histograms with details for the available and scheduled capacity for each work center and machine.

Column Description
Work Center The identifier of the work center.
Shift The shift used in the work center.
Crew Size The crew size of the work center.
Machines The number of machines used in the work center.

Column Description
Machine The identifier of the machine.
