Salespersons

You can use this form to create new salesperson accounts and to modify existing accounts. For more information, see Commission Configuration and Calculation.
Form Toolbar
The form toolbar includes only standard buttons. For the list of standard buttons, see Form Toolbar and More Menu.
Summary Area
In this area, you can create a new salesperson account or select an existing salesperson account for viewing or editing its settings.
Element | Description |

Salesperson ID |
The unique identifier of the salesperson. Requirements for the ID are set by the SALESPER segmented key. For more information, see Segmented Identifiers. |
Is Active | A check box that indicates (if selected) that the salesperson account is active. |
Name | The salesperson's name as it should appear on documents. |
Default Commission % |
The default percent of commission to be used for the salesperson. The box is available if the Commissions feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form. |
Sales Sub. | The subaccount associated with the salesperson. |
Customers Tab
This tab contains a list of the salesperson's customers, and the applicable location and the commission percentage associated with each.
The table toolbar includes only standard buttons. For the list of standard buttons, see Table Toolbar.
Column | Description |

Customer ID |
The customer's unique identifier. You can select a customer from the list of available customers. The list of customers available for selection
may be limited based on the role or roles assigned to the user account to which you are
signed in if the Customer and Vendor Visibility Restriction feature is enabled on
the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form. In this case, the
Restrict Visibility To box appears on the
Financial tab of the Customers (AR303000) form. With the feature enabled, a
customer is available for selection if one of the following is true:

Customer Name | A read-only column showing the customer's name as it should appear on the documents. |
Location | A read-only column with the default location of the customer with whom the salesperson works. |
Location Name | A read-only column that displays the name of the location. |
Commission % |
The commission percent on sales for the particular customer. The box is available if the Commissions feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form. |
Default |
The check box that indicates (if selected) that the salesperson to be used by default for the customer. The value of the check box can be changed on the Salespersons tab of the Customers (AR303000) form for each customer. |
Commission History Tab
This tab displays the history of commissions for the salesperson.
The tab is available if the Commissions feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

View Details | Navigates to the Commission Details (AR403000) form and displays the details of the selected document. |
Column | Description |
---|---|
Commission Period | The commission period in which the commission was incurred. The commission periods are set on the Accounts Receivable Preferences (AR101000) form. |
Commissionable Amount | The amount used for commission calculation during the period. The commission is calculated on an invoice amount before taxes. |
Commission Amount | The amount of commissions earned during the period. |
Currency |
The currency of the commissions. The column appears on the form if the Multiple Base Currencies feature has been enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form. |
