Inventory Transaction History

Note: This form is available only if the Inventory feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

You use this inquiry form to view detailed information about inventory transactions posted within a selected period. You can set up criteria to view only particular data.

Form Toolbar

The form toolbar includes standard and form-specific buttons and commands. For the list of standard buttons, see Form Toolbar and More Menu. The form-specific commands are listed in the following table.

Button Description
Allocation Details Navigates to the Inventory Allocation Details (IN402000) form, where you can view how the inventory item from the inventory transaction is distributed among warehouses and warehouse locations.
Inventory Summary Navigates to the Inventory Summary (IN401000) form, where you can view the availability data of the inventory item.

Selection Area

By using the elements in this area, you can view in the table the data that is most relevant to your information needs.

Element Description
Company/Branch

The company, branch, or company group for which you want to view information. By default, the current company or branch is selected. You can select another branch, company, or company group to which you have access. This setting is required if the Multiple Base Currencies feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

Inventory ID The inventory item for which you want to view transaction information.
Warehouse

The warehouse for which you want to view transaction information.

This box appears only if the Multiple Warehouses feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

Location

The location for which you want to view transaction information.

This box appears only if the Multiple Warehouse Locations feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

Lot/Serial Number

The lot or serial number for which you want to view inventory transactions (if the inventory item has lot or serial numbers).

This box appears only if the Lot and Serial Tracking feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

Subitem

The subitem of the inventory item for which you want to view inventory transactions.

This box is available only if the Inventory Subitems feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

Important: The Inventory Subitems check box has been removed from the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form because the functionality associated with the Inventory Subitems feature will be phased out. If you have this feature enabled in your system, the associated functionality remains available. To disable the feature, contact your MYOB support provider.
Start Date The start date of the date range for the inventory transactions to be displayed.
End Date The end date of the date range for the inventory transactions to be displayed.
Summary By Day A check box that indicates (if selected) that the system displays only the summary information for each day in the table. Clear this check box to view detailed information for each day within the selected period.
Include Unreleased A check box that indicates (if selected) that the system displays the non-released transactions along with released transactions in the table.
Include Landed Cost in Unit Cost A check box that indicates (if selected) that the system displays in the Unit Cost column the sum of item unit cost and landed cost which is taken from a purchase receipt (if any) associated with the item.

Table

In this area, you can view the details of the transactions that meet the criteria you have specified in the Selection area.

Table 1. Table Toolbar

The table toolbar includes standard buttons and buttons that are specific to this table. For the list of standard buttons, see Table Toolbar. The table-specific buttons are listed below.

Button Description
Inventory Item Navigates to the Stock Items (IN202500) form to display information about the selected inventory item.
Summary Navigates to the Inventory Summary (IN401000) form to display the availability data of the inventory item.
Allocation Details Navigates to the Inventory Allocation Details (IN402000) form to display information about how the selected inventory item is allocated at the specified warehouse.
Table 2. Table Columns
Column Description
Date The transaction date.
Tran. Type The inventory transaction type, which can be one of the following: Receipt, Issue, Transfer, or Adjustment for transactions originating in the Inventory module; or Invoice, Credit Memo, or Return for transactions originating in another system module.
Reference Nbr. The reference number of the transaction.
Subitem

Subitem of the inventory item.

This column is available only if the Inventory Subitems feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

Important: The Inventory Subitems check box has been removed from the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form because the functionality associated with the Inventory Subitems feature will be phased out. Warehouse

The warehouse where the inventory transaction was performed.

This column appears only if the Multiple Warehouses feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

Location

The location where the inventory transaction was performed.

This column is available only if the Inventory Subitems feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

Lot/Serial Number

The lot or serial number involved in the inventory transaction.

This column appears only if the Lot and Serial Tracking feature is enabled.

Released A check box that indicates (if selected) that the transaction has been released.
Beginning Qty.

The quantity of the selected inventory item available at a warehouse (if the item is stored in one warehouse or a warehouse is specified in the Warehouse box in the Selection area) or warehouses (if the item is stored in multiple warehouses and no warehouse is specified in the Warehouse box in the Selection area) before the inventory transaction was made.

You cannot sort or filter the transactions in the table by the quantity in this column.

Qty. In The quantity of the selected inventory item that were received at this warehouse as the result of the inventory transaction.
Qty. Out The quantity of the selected inventory item that were issued from this warehouse as the result of the inventory transaction.
Ending Qty.

The quantity of the selected inventory item that were available at a warehouse (if the item is stored in one warehouse or a warehouse is specified in the Warehouse box in the Selection area) or warehouses (if the item is stored in multiple warehouses and no warehouse is specified in the Warehouse box in the Selection area) after the inventory transaction was made.

You cannot sort or filter the transactions in the table by the quantity in this column.

Unit Cost The unit of measure used for the inventory item.
SO Order Type The type of the sales order involved.
SO Order Nbr. The reference number of the sales order.
PO Receipt Nbr. The reference number of the purchase order.
