Map Pane

The map area displays the following information:

  • The system-suggested route for the staff member, generated by the integrated map service(such as Azure Maps).
  • The locations where a staff member was idle. These are the locations at which the staff member stayed for more than the time specified in the History Time Accuracy box on the Calendars and Maps tab (the Map Settings section) of the Service Management Preferences (FS100100) form within the range specified in the History Distance Accuracy box.
  • The locations where a staff member was moving. At these locations, the staff member stayed for less than the time specified in the History Time Accuracy box on the Service Management Preferences (FS100100) form within the range specified in the History Distance Accuracy box—that is, the staff member was moving.

For you to be able to view actual routes and staff locations, the Show Location Tracking check box has to be selected on the Calendars and Maps tab (the Map Settings section) of the Service Management Preferences (FS100100) form. Also, location tracking has to be turned on for each user whose locations you want to track, which is done on the Users (SM201010) form. For details, see User Access: Mobile Devices.
