Staff Schedule Rules

On this form, you can view all the information about the schedule rules of every staff member available to perform field services. This information includes the name of the staff member, the branch location (to which the staff member is assigned), and the staff member's schedule (that is, the times when the person is available to perform services).

To add a new schedule rule, you click New Record on the form toolbar. The system opens the Staff Schedule Rules (FS202001) form, where you can enter the data for a new schedule rule.

The form toolbar includes only standard buttons. For the list of standard buttons, see Form Toolbar and More Menu.

Selection Area

By selecting a staff member in this area, you can display the records of only this staff member.

Element Description
Staff Member The name of the staff member for whom you want to view schedule rules.

Table

The table contains a list of the schedule rules of each staff member or the staff member you have selected, along with the details of the schedule rules.

Column Description
Branch The unique identifier of the branch where the staff member works.
Branch Location ID The unique identifier of the branch location where the staff member works.
Description The description of the schedule rule.
Staff Schedule Nbr. The unique identifier of the schedule rule associated with the staff member.
Employee ID The unique identifier of the staff member associated with this schedule rule.
Employee Name The name of the staff member associated with this schedule rule.
Schedule Type The type of the schedule rule, which is one of the following options:
  • Availability: The schedule rule defines the times when a staff member is available to perform services.
  • Unavailability: The schedule rule defines the times when a staff member is not available to perform services (for instance, if he or she is on vacation or sick leave).
Start Date The date from which the schedule is generated; this is also the date the staff member can start perform the services (at the times specified in the schedule rule).
End Date The end date of the range when the schedule is generated; this is also the last date the staff member can perform the services.
Start Time The exact time when the staff member is available to start performing the services.
End Time The exact time when the staff member should stop performing the services.
Recurrence Description The recurrence setting of the staff member schedule rule. The value in this column is a combination of the settings selected on the Recurrence tab of the Staff Schedule Rules form.
