To Move an Article

You can move an article to a different folder or to a different position within the current folder. If you move an article that is a folder, it is moved along with its contents.

To Move an Article Across Folders

To move an article between folders:

  1. Open the article.
  2. On the wiki toolbar, click Edit Current Article to open the Wiki Editor form.
  3. On the Contents tab, in the Parent Folder box, select the folder where you want to place the article.
  4. On the Wiki Editor form toolbar, click Save.

To Move Articles Within a Folder

To rearrange articles within a folder, do the following:

  1. Open the folder that holds the article.
  2. On the wiki toolbar, click Edit Current Article to open the Wiki Editor form.
  3. On the Subarticles tab, select the article you want to move.
  4. To change the position of the article within the folder, do one of the following:
    • On the table toolbar, click Move Up to move the article one row up in the list
    • On the table toolbar, click Move Down to move the article one row down.
  5. Repeat Step 4 until you've moved the article where it should be.
  6. Repeat Steps 3 to 5 for each article you want to move.
  7. On the Wiki Editor form toolbar, click Save.

To view the new order of articles in the folder, reload or refresh the page.

Note: You can also change the order of articles in a folder by using the Wiki Site Map (SM202010) form.
