To Deactivate Expired Credit Cards

You can view information on customer credit cards that have already expired or will expire soon and deactivate them using the Deactivate Expired Cards (AR512500) form.

Before You Proceed

Make sure that the Integrated Card Processing feature has been enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form. With this feature enabled, the Deactivate Expired Cards form appears in the system.

To Deactivate Expired Cards

  1. Open the Deactivate Expired Cards (AR512500) form.
  2. Select the latest card expiration date in the Expiration Date box.
  3. In the Expired Within (Days) box, specify the number of days of the time interval that ends on the date in the Expiration Date text box.
  4. Optional: Specify a particular customer class in the Customer Class box. To view all customers, leave the box blank.
  5. Optional: To view information on only expired credit cards associated with the default payment method of the customer, select the Show Cards of Default Payment Method Only check box.
  6. Optional: To view information on only the cards for which customers were notified about the cards' coming expiration, select the Show Cards of Notified Customers Only check box.
  7. Do one of the following:
    • To deactivate all the cards displayed in the table, click Deactivate All on the form toolbar.
    • To deactivate one or some listed cards, select the unlabeled check boxes of the cards you want to deactivate and, on the form toolbar, click Deactivate.
