To Configure the DeviceHub Log

The DeviceHub application is a Windows application that you can use for integrating MYOB Acumatica with hardware devices. You can specify the information to be shown in the DeviceHub log and set up the log to be saved to a file, as described in this topic.

To Configure the DeviceHub Log

  1. Navigate to Start > Programs > Acumatica > Acumatica DeviceHub to view the DeviceHub main window.
    Note:
    DeviceHub must be run with administrator privileges; otherwise, some of its functions may be unavailable.
  2. In the application main menu, click File > Configure to open the Configuration window.
  3. Optional: On the Log tab, select the Collect diagnostics check box to collect extended information about connected devices and processing threads.
  4. Specify the following settings to store the log information to a file:
    • Save log to file: Select this check box if the log must be saved to a file when the application is running
    • Log folder: Leave the folder specified by default, or specify another folder where the log file will be saved.
    • Keep log files for _ days: Leave 30 to keep the log for the past 30 days, or specify another number of days.
  5. Click OK.
