To Add a Scale in DeviceHub

If the DeviceHub application is installed and configured for use with the MYOB Acumatica instance, a user can configure the digital scale device to be used in automated warehouse operations. The following instructions describe how to add a digital scale in DeviceHub.

To Configure a Scale in DeviceHub

1. Navigate to Start > Programs > Acumatica > Acumatica DeviceHub to view the DeviceHub main window.
2. Click File > Configure on the DeviceHub main menu.
3. On the General tab of the Configuration window, select the Enable scale support check box.
4. On the Digital Scale tab, click Add, and specify the settings as follows:
   • Scale ID: Enter the ID of the digital scale.
     Note: Only digits and uppercase letters are allowed for scale names.
   • Device: In the drop-down list, select one of the digital scale devices detected in the system.
   • Show all devices: Select this check box to review the list of all devices that have been connected to the computer you are using.
5. Click OK to close the Configuration window.
6. Sign in to the MYOB Acumatica instance for which you have configured DeviceHub. You can review the scales that have been configured in DeviceHub on the Scales (SM206530) form.
   Note: A scale that has been configured in DeviceHub appears in this table when MYOB Acumatica receives a nonzero weight from the scale for the first time. Scales that are disconnected or switched off are not shown on the form.
