Reviewing the Balances of Accumulated Depreciation Accounts
You can run a report on the FA Balance by GL Account (FA643000) form to review the balances of the Accumulated Depreciation accounts. The report shows the actual balances of the accumulated depreciation accounts after you have released the depreciation transactions for a specified period. The report also displays the account balance (split by subaccounts) for each fixed asset and the total balance for each subaccount, if subaccounts are used in your system.
Reviewing the Net Value of Depreciated Fixed Assets
To can run a report on the Fixed Assets Net Value (FA613000) form to review the net value of the depreciated fixed assets. In this report, the Ending Net column shows the net value of the assets at the end of the specified period—that is, Beginning Net plus Addition minus Disposal minus Depreciation. The End. Depr. column shows the total accumulated depreciation for each asset.
