To Resume Asset Depreciation

You can reinstate the depreciation of an asset by using the Fixed Assets form.

To Reinstate Asset Depreciation

1. Open the Fixed Assets (FA303000) form.
2. In the Asset ID box, select the asset for which depreciation has been suspended.
3. On the More menu (under Processing), click Unsuspend.

   Alternatively, on the Balance tab, you can click Unsuspend on the table toolbar.

4. In the Suspend Parameters dialog box, specify the period in which you want to reinstate the asset.
5. Click OK.

The asset depreciation is reinstated, and the status of the asset is changed to Active starting at the beginning of the period you have specified.
