Inventory Balance

This report displays up-to-date information about the inventory items stocked at different warehouses. The information includes the warehouse ID, unit cost, quantity on hand, unavailable quantity, quantity of expired items, and available quantity. The inventory items are listed by inventory ID.

Report Parameters
On the Report Parameters tab, you use the following parameters to select the information to be displayed on the report:
- Company/Branch: The company,
branch, or company group for which you want to view information. By default, the current
company or branch is selected. You can select another branch, company, or company group
to which you have access or leave the box blank to view information about all companies
in the tenant.
This parameter is required if the Multiple Base Currencies feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.
- Inventory ID: A particular inventory item. Select an inventory ID to view the inventory balance related to only this inventory item, or leave it blank to view a broader range of data.
- Inventory Class: A particular item class. Select an item class to view the inventory balance for only the items of this item class, or leave it blank to view a broader range of data. If the item class that you have selected has child item classes, the report will display information for the items of the selected class along with information for the items of these child classes.
- Inventory Subitem: A specific subitem. Select an inventory subitem to
view the inventory balance calculated for only this subitem, or leave it blank
to view a broader range of data.
This box is available only if the Inventory Subitems feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.
Important: The Inventory Subitems check box has been removed from the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form because the functionality associated with the Inventory Subitems feature will be phased out. If you have this feature enabled in your system, the associated functionality remains available. To disable the feature, contact your MYOB support provider. - Warehouse: The warehouse for which you want to view inventory balance
information. Select a warehouse to view the inventory balance calculated for
only items in this warehouse, or leave it blank to view a broader range of
data.
This box is available only if the Multiple Warehouses feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features form.
- Location Details: A check box that you can select to include in the
report warehouse location details.
This box is available only if the Multiple Warehouse Locations feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features form.
- Cost
Layer Type Details: A check box that you can
select to display the item quantities and costs for each order and for each cost
layer type. If the check box is selected, the new Cost Layer
Type column is displayed in the generated report.
This check box appears only if the Project-Specific Inventory feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features form.
- Lot/Serial Details: A check box that you can select to include in the report lot or serial numbers for each inventory ID, subitem, and warehouse–inventory ID combination.
- Allocation Details: A check box that you can select to include in the report allocation information for each combination of inventory ID, subitem (if applicable), and warehouse ID.
- Company/Branch: The company or
branch for which you want to view information. You can select a company or make no
selection to view information about all companies in the tenant.
By default, the system inserts the company or branch selected on the Company and Branch Selection menu.
