Other Settings That Affect the Workflow
You can affect the workflow of daily field reports by specifying additional settings as follows:
- To change the format of daily field report identifiers, adjust the DFREPORT numbering sequence on the Numbering Sequences (CS201010) form, or create a new numbering sequence and select this sequence in the DFR Numbering Sequence box on the General tab of the Project Management Preferences (PM101000) form. For more information on numbering sequences, see Use of Numbering Sequences.
- To modify the copy-paste settings of the daily field reports, on the Daily Field Report Copy Settings tab of the Project Management Preferences form, select the Override Default Copy-Paste Settings check box. Then you select or clear the check boxes on the tab to define whether the specified information will be copied from an original daily field report when you create a copy of a daily field report by using the standard Copy and Paste commands on the form toolbar of the Daily Field Report (PJ304000) form.
- To save revisions of a daily field report as PDF files, select the Enable History Log check box on the Project Management Preferences form. All new revisions of the daily field report will be saved as PDF files and listed on the History tab on the Daily Field Report form.
