To Obtain a Salesforce Security Token

Each time a new user is created in Salesforce, the system sends the user an email with a user security token. If you have lost your security token, you can request a new one by doing the following:

  1. Log in to Salesforce by using the account under which data synchronization will be performed. In most cases, this is the account you usually use to log in to your Salesforce instance.
  2. Click My Settings > Personal > Reset My Security Token.
  3. Click the Reset Security Token button.

After that, you will receive an email with a user security token, which you will need to configure the data provider used for data synchronization. For details, see To Configure the Salesforce Data Provider.
