To Generate Periods for New Financial Years in a Company Calendar

Once you have configured a company calendar, you need to generate periods for new financial years in the company calendar. To do this, you use the Company Financial Calendar (GL201100) form.

To Generate Periods for New Financial Years in Each Company Calendar

1. Open the Company Financial Calendar (GL201100) form.
2. In the Company box of the Selection area, select a company for which you want to generate periods.
3. On the form toolbar, click Generate Calendar.
4. In the Generate GL Calendars dialog box, which opens, in the From Year and To Year boxes, enter the financial years for which you want to generate periods.

   You use these boxes to specify the range of financial years for which periods are generated.

5. Click OK to close the dialog box.

   A financial calendar has been generated with the periods with the Inactive status.
