Currency Rate Types

On this form, you can view and configure rate types. The rate type settings are applied to the exchange rates of the currency pairs to which the rate type is assigned. For details, see Configuration of Rate Types and Rates: General Information.

Form Toolbar

Table

Here you can create rate types or view the existing list of rate types.

Column Description
Rate Type ID The unique name that identifies the rate type. You can use an ASCII string of up to six characters.
Description The detailed description of the rate type. The description may contain up to 60 alphanumeric characters.
Days Effective

The number of days starting with the currency effective date, which is specified in the Currency Effective Date column on the Currency Rates (CM301000) form, during which the rate is effective for rates of this rate type.

By default, 0 is specified. The currency rate is effective until more recent rate for the same currency and rate type becomes effective based on its Currency Effective Date on the Currency Rates (CM301000) form.

Refresh Online

A check box that indicates (if selected) that exchange currency rate can be updated (manually or automatically) through the online currency rate update service.

Online Rate Adjustment (%) The rate adjustment (expressed as a percent) to be applied to the rates returned by the online currency rate update service. For example, suppose you set this value to 0.05 and the actual currency rate is 1.101234. The system would set the following value as the rate: 1.101234 * (1 + 0.0005) = 1.10178462.
