Organisations

Organisations contain information about Customers, Suppliers, Prospects or other types of companies involved in your business. The Relationship field in CRM captures the nature of your relationship with the Company and is user defined. CRM Organisations can be linked to AR Customers and/or AP Suppliers.

CRM Organisations are compulsory throughout CRM, with the exception of the Contracts and Service & Support modules.

Buttons on the Organisation Maintenance Form

The buttons on this form are:

Attachments

Opens a form that enables you to add and view any type of document, file, picture or graphic to the selected item. The name of this button reflects the number of Attachments linked to the selected item.

Create Contacts

Opens the Contacts form with the Organisation field pre-filled. You can add a new contact from the Organisation Maintenance form.

Create Leads

Opens the Leads form with the Organisation field pre-filled. You can add a new lead from the Organisation Maintenance form.

Create Quotes

Opens the Quotes form with the Organisation field pre-filled. You can add a new quote from the Organisation Maintenance form.

Create Communication

Opens the Communications form with the Organisation field pre-filled. You can add a new communication from the Organisation Maintenance form.

Create Appointments

Opens the Appointments form with the Organisation field pre-filled. You can add a new appointment from the Organisation Maintenance form.

Create Follow-ups

Opens the Follow-up form with the Organisation field pre-filled. You can add a new follow-up from the Organisation Maintenance form.

Create Call or Service Request or Call and Service Request

The caption and function of this button is set in Module Control, Service tab. Click this button to open the Support Call and/or Service Request form with the Organisation detail pre-filled.

You can also select the Verified option to indicate that the Organisation is verified for correctness.
