MYOB Acumatica Professional Services Edition CR12 Release Notes

CR12 introduces the following features to MYOB Acumatica Professional Services:

  • DB Schema Changes: Enhanced schema for optimized speed and data handling.
  • Billing and Invoicing Enhancements:
    • Improved WIP Allocation in Approvals: CR12 allows users to interact with WIP allocations directly in the Approval Map, including fields such as Write-Off/On Amount and percentage values, enhancing control over approval workflows for billing-related documents.
    • Enhanced Document Type Handling for WIP: Improved logic for determining AR document types (e.g., Credit Memo, Invoice) during parent project billing. CR12 now calculates the total WIP for all projects to set the appropriate document type, avoiding issues with negative WIP totals.
  • Daily Time Cards and Assignment Enhancements: Improved management capabilities for tracking materials and assignments within daily time cards, with options for off-balance postings.
  • Enhanced WIP Calculations and Inquiries:Consistent WIP data across screens and new generic inquiries to monitor WIP from multiple dimensions, including project, client, and family group levels.

The version number of MYOB Acumatica Professional Services Edition CR12 is 2023.117.400. It is compatible with sites on MYOB Acumatica version 2023.100 only.

Testing Your Site After Updating to CR12

After an MYOB consultant has updated your site to CR12, you need to do some tests to make sure everything is working as expected:
  • Test key workflows such as work in progress, time cards and project rollovers.
  • Check any customised screens, such as general inquiries, filters, pivot tables or projections and update them to work with the latest data schemas.
