Daily Time Card Improvements
In addition to making the Daily Time Cards screen (MYPE3050) faster, we've also made a number of improvements to the user experience to make it easier to enter and manage time card entries.
Correct Action only available for Eligible Timesheet Entries
The Correct button is now only available for released time entry lines. It is greyed out for unreleased lines, which can be edited without a correction.
This makes it clear which entries can be corrected, reducing errors and making the screen easier to understand .
Time Entry Lock Date Validation
When updating the Time Entry Lock Date in Practice Management Preferences (MYPE1000), the system now checks for unreleased time cards dated on or before the new lock date. If any are found, the update is blocked and up to 10 affected references are shown.
This helps you make sure all time sheet entries are reviewed by preventing you from locking them before you've released them, and then helping you find the remaining unreleased ones.
Role-based Permission for Editing Billable Status
We've added a new Role with rights to edit Billable Time in DTC field to the Other Settings section of Practice Management Preferences (MYPE1000). When selected, only users with the specific role can change the Billable status of daily time card entries.
