Fixed Assets: Configuration Prerequisites

Before starting to configure fixed assets, you should be sure that the needed features have been enabled, settings have been specified, and entities have been created, as described in the following sections.

Enabling the Needed Features

On the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form, the minimum set of features has to be enabled. For details, see Company Without Branches: To Configure a Company Without Branches.

Note: On the same form, the Centralized Period Management feature must be disabled.

Configuring the System

On the Companies (CS101500) form, you need to make sure that the companies of the organization have been configured and that the appropriate actual ledger has been assigned to each of them.
