Reviewing Information About Employee Pay Rates and Earnings
You can use the following reports to review information about employee pay rates and earnings:
- Payroll Check Register (PR641011): Displays information about employee payroll payments and their calculation details, including benefits and employer taxes.
- Paid Time Off Details by Employee (PR641050): Displays information about PTO liabilities and their usage statistics for the specified period, broken down by PTO bank and employee. The report includes information from regular paychecks, adjustments, and special checks.
- Union Hours and Rates by Labor Item (PR641080): Displays information about worked union hours and about the rates used to calculate wages, with a breakdown by paycheck and union.
- Earnings by Employee (PR641065): Displays quarterly and YTD hours and amounts earned by each employee within the specified year broken down by earning type. The report includes information from regular paychecks, adjustments, and special checks.
Also, you can use the following inquiry forms to review employee earning details and payment information:
- Employee Pay Rates and Earnings (PR4030P2): Displays employee information about active pay rates combined with earning hours and amounts summarized by quarter. For each quarterly total, you can view details at the paycheck level.
- My Payroll Documents (PR405000): By using this inquiry form, an employee can view their pay stubs. The system shows only pay stubs linked with the paychecks that have the Printed status.
Reviewing Information About Deductions and Benefits
You can use the following reports to review information about deductions and benefits:
- Deductions and Benefits by Paycheck (PR641030): Displays information about employee deductions and benefits payed during the specified period. The report provides the capability to break down the information by contribution source—that is, you can generate reports separately for particular employees, certified projects, WCC codes, or unions.
- Deductions and Benefits by Employee (PR641066): Displays information about employee deductions and benefits payed during the specified year broken down by employee and deduction and benefit code.
Also, you can use the Employee Deductions and Benefits (PR4030P4) inquiry form to review employee information about deductions and benefits for the selected year summarized by quarter. For each quarterly amount, you can view the relevant details at the paycheck level.
Reviewing Information About Taxes
To review information about taxes, you can use the following reports:
- Taxes by Paycheck (PR641070): Displays information about calculated employee and employer taxes for a list of paychecks with an MTD, QTD, and YTD summary.
- Taxes by Employee (PR641067): Displays calculated quarterly and YTD tax amounts for each employee within the specified year broken down by tax code.
You can use the Employee Taxes (PR4030P3) inquiry form to review employee information about tax exemption, tax applicable wages, tax amounts, and tax gross amounts summarized by quarter. For each quarterly amount, you can view the relevant tax details at the paycheck level.
Printing Documents
To prepare a printable form of the pay stubs generated for a payment batch, you use the Display Pay Stubs command on the More menu of the Payment Batches (PR305000) form.
To print checks related to a payment batch, you use the Print Checks command on the More menu of the Payment Batches form.
