To Adjust Column Widths
If not all columns fit in the screen and you must scroll to the right to view some of them, you can adjust the column widths so that you can view all columns on the screen without scrolling. You might not see some column headers in their entirety if their full text doesn't fit in the reduced column width, but making this adjustment will give you the ability to view all the columns. You can adjust column widths automatically and manually, and you can restore default widths, as described in this topic.
To Adjust the Column Width Automatically
- On the table toolbar, click Fit to Screen (). The column widths will be reduced proportionally so that the whole table fits the screen.
This change is saved automatically by the system, that is, when you open the table in the future you will see this change.
To Adjust the Column Width Manually
- Move the pointer over the column split line (the line dividing two columns). When the pointer becomes a double-headed arrow, drag the pointer left or right to move the line.
- Repeat Step 1 for each column split line you want to move.
These changes are saved automatically by the system, that is, when you open the table in the future you will see this change.
To Restore the Default Table Layout
- Click the Column Configuration button ().
- In the bottom left of the Column Configuration dialog box, click Reset to Default.
