Scales: Configuration Prerequisites
Before starting to set up scales in DeviceHub, you should be sure that the needed features have been enabled and MYOB Acumatica and DeviceHub have been configured, as described in the following sections.
Enabling the Needed Features
On the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form, the following features must be enabled:
- DeviceHub
- Warehouse Management
Configuring the System
You need to make sure the following tasks have been performed in MYOB Acumatica before you begin to configure printers in DeviceHub:
- On the Users (SM201010) form, a user with the Administrator user role has been created. DeviceHub will use it for connecting to the MYOB Acumatica.
- On the Access Rights by Role (SM201025) or Access Rights by Screen (SM201020) form, the user for connecting to the MYOB Acumatica instance has been granted the Edit access rights to the Scales (SM206530) form.
Configuring the Application
You need to make sure that on the Connection tab of the Configuration window, the connection settings have been specified in DeviceHub before you begin to configure scales.
