Paperless Picking: Implementation Activity

In the following implementation activity, you will learn how to enable the Paperless Picking feature.

Attention:
This activity is based on the U100 dataset. If you are using another dataset, or if any system settings have been changed in U100, these changes can affect the workflow of the activity and the results of the processing. To avoid any issues, restore the U100 dataset to its initial state.

Story

Suppose that the SweetLife Fruits & Jams company has decided to switch to a paperless picking workflow in order to reduce the costs in the picking and packing process.

Acting as the implementation manager, you need to enable the needed feature.

Process Overview

In this activity, you will enable the needed feature on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

System Preparation

Before you enable the Paperless Picking feature, launch the MYOB Acumatica website, and sign in to a company with the U100 dataset preloaded. You should sign in as the implementation manager with the gibbs username and the 123 password.

Step: Enabling the Needed Feature

To give users the ability to process automated picking and packing operations without printing paper pick lists , do the following to enable the Paperless Picking feature:

  1. Open the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.
  2. On the form toolbar, click Modify.
  3. Select the Paperless Picking check box.
  4. On the form toolbar, click Enable.
