Service Orders with Additional Services and Appointments: General Information
Sometimes, you may need to expand existing service orders on the Service Orders (FS300100) by adding services, appointments, or both. For example, a customer who initially requested an installation service might later decide to add equipment cleaning or employee training to the same order. In this case, you would open the existing service order, add the additional service, and create the necessary appointments to perform it.
Learning Objectives
In this chapter, you will learn how to do the following:
- Add a new service to an existing service order for the customer
- Consider the skills of the staff member assigned to the service order
- Create a new appointment to deliver the additional service and associate it with the service order
Applicable Scenarios
You add extra services, additional appointments, or both to an existing service order when the scope of work requested by the customer has expanded.
