To Exclude Strings from Translation

In Customer Portal, you can exclude from the translation process strings that do not need to be translated by using the Translation Dictionaries (SM200540) form, as described in the procedure below. For more information, see Translation Process.

To Exclude Strings from Translation

1. Open the Translation Dictionaries (SM200540) form.
2. In the Language box, select the check boxes for the language or languages to which you want to translate the strings.
3. For each string that you want to exclude (with all its occurrences) from translation, in the Default Values table on the Collected tab, select the Do Not Translate check box in the string row.
4. On the form toolbar, click Save to save the changes.

   The excluded strings and their occurrences are automatically hidden from the tables on the Collected tab.
