Overriding Employer Contributions in Standard and Current Pays

In the previous 2025.1.401 release, we added restrictions that prevented you from overriding employer KiwiSaver pay items in an employee's standard and current pay. Instead, you could only update the rate on the Pay Items form (MPPP2210).

In this 2025.1.402 hotfix, we've removed these restrictions. You will again be able to override the employer’s KiwiSaver rate in the employee’s standard and current pays.

As part of removing the restrictions, we've also made updating employer rates more reliable on the Update KiwiSaver Rates form (MPPP2321). You can now use the form to update employer KiwiSaver pay items with default rates below the legislated minimum, even if those pay items have an employee‑level override setting in the standard pay.
