Uninstalling of MYOB Acumatica: To Delete an Instance

The following activity will walk you through the process of deleting an MYOB Acumatica application instance.

Story

Suppose that you are the system administrator of your company, and need to delete the existing MYOB Acumatica application instance.

Process Overview

In this activity, you will delete the MYOB Acumatica application instance.

System Preparation

Before you begin deleting the MYOB Acumatica application instance, make sure that you have completed the Instance Deployment: To Deploy an Instance with Demo Data or Instance Deployment: To Deploy an Out-of-the-Box Instance prerequisite activity.

Step: Deleting an Application Instance

To delete the MYOB Acumatica application instance, do the following:

1. On the Start menu, click Acumatica ERP Configuration to open the MYOB Acumatica ERP Configuration Wizard.
2. On the Welcome page, click Perform Application Maintenance.
3. In the list of existing application instances, click the row with the MYOB Acumatica instance you want to delete, and click Delete.
4. In the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
5. Wait while the instance is deleted, and click OK.

   The application created under the default site in Internet Information Services (IIS) when MYOB Acumatica was installed has been deleted.
