Availability Calculation Rules: Configuration Prerequisites

Before starting to create availability calculation rules, you must be sure that the system has been configured properly, as described in the following sections.

Enabling the Needed Features

On the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form, the Inventory feature must be enabled. With this feature enabled, you can create availability calculation rules.

Configuring the System

You make sure that on the Inventory Preferences (IN101000) form, all required preferences have been configured. For details, see Configuration of Order Management: Implementation Activity.
