Configuring Approvals

Before you can begin using the approval functionality in MYOB Acumatica, you must perform the necessary configuration steps. These steps include enabling the necessary feature, creating the needed approval maps, and specifying the approval preferences for the entity type.

Note: Approving a record is just one step in the processing workflow, which may involve additional actions, such as releasing and voiding the record. These other processing steps can be executed even if the approval functionality is not configured in the system.
