Delivery Details
This form displays delivery address details of the sales order. If a customer has multiple delivery addresses set up, the primary address defaults to the form, or the first address set up for the customer if no primary is specified.
You can change the default with any of the customer's addresses as required, by selecting a different code for the delivery address. The delivery address selected prints on the packing slip/invoice of the order.
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Address #
Enter or select a code number for this delivery address, between 1 and 999.
Name
Enter the customer's name for their delivery address, up to 50 alphanumeric characters.
Address 1
Enter the first line of the address, up to 30 alphanumeric characters.
Address 2
Enter the second line of the address, up to 30 alphanumeric characters.
Address 3
Enter the third line of the address, up to 30 alphanumeric characters.
Suburb
The label for this field is the Suburb on the Country Maintenance form. You can enter a 50 character alphanumeric suburb, or select one from a dropdown list.
When you select a suburb from the list, the postal code, state and time zone (if required) update to their related fields. You can edit or select a suburb code.
Post code
The label for this field is the postal code on the Country Maintenance form. You can enter a 10 character alphanumeric post code, or select one from a dropdown list.

State
This field is enabled if the Country Maintenance option Use state in address details is selected.
The label for the field is the one defined as the state on the Country Maintenance form. You can enter a 20 character alphanumeric state, or select one from a pre-populated dropdown list.

Note: A state associated with a post code or suburb always overwrite any existing value in this field.
Country
Select the country of the address.
T/Zone
This field is enabled if the Use time zone in address details option on the Country Maintenance form is selected.
You can enter a six alphanumeric character time zone in a format such as +12:00. If you selected a suburb or postal code from a list, the time zone associated with that selection is copied to this field.
Note: A time zone for a post code or suburb always overwrite any existing value in this field.
Phone
Enter up to 50 alphanumeric characters for the phone number associated with the delivery address. If phone masking is in use, this field is formatted using the phone or fax mask defined on the Country Maintenance form.
You can also enter text following a masked format if required — for example, for an extension number.
Mobile
Enter up to 50 alphanumeric characters for the mobile number associated with the delivery address. If phone masking is in use, this field is formatted with the phone or fax mask defined on the Country Maintenance form.
Fax
Enter up to 50 alphanumeric characters for the fax number associated with the delivery address. If phone masking is in use, this field is formatted with the phone or fax mask defined on the Country Maintenance form.
Contact
Enter the name of the main contact person for this delivery address, up to 30 alphanumeric characters.
Email address
Enter up to 256 alphanumeric characters for the delivery address-specific email address.
Web address
Enter up to 256 alphanumeric characters for the delivery address-specific website address.
Run Number
This field displays the run number that is of the customer's delivery address, if delivery run and drop sequence function is being used. This is enabled if the Sales Order module is in use.
Drop sequence
This field displays the drop sequence of the customer's run number. This is enabled if the Sales Order module is in use and delivery run and drop sequence function is being applied. It is enabled if the Sales Order module is in use.
Run List
Click this to display a list of sales orders which have the same run number as the one of the selected delivery address.
Additional Information
Enter any additional information which is specific to the selected delivery address. Click F9 to add or view a narration. Press CTRL-Enter to start a new line.
Save to AR
If you have entered a delivery address that is different to one that is already set up for the customer on the AR Customer Maintenance form, click this button to save the address details with the customer, so they can be recalled in future.
Save & Continue
Click this to save delivery details and return to sales order entry.
Restore Default
Click this to restore delivery details to defaults - this overrides any edits that have been made.
The SO Module Control option Auto process delivery info determines at what point the user is prompted to enter delivery details for a sales order. The options are:
- Disabled - the user are not prompted to enter a delivery address.
- On Exit - the users is prompted to enter a delivery address before closing the sales order.
- Prior to Line Entry - the user is prompted to enter a delivery address when the sales order header is saved (before entering lines).
If the drop ship option is selected on the sales order header, and a new linked purchase order is created for the sales order, the delivery details are transferred to the linked PO delivery details. The Additional Information updates to the purchase order Despatch Notes.
Note: When the delivery address prints on the packing slip, it is formatted using the options selected on the Country Maintenance form, using the country assigned to the address.
