General Tab
Use the General tab to display the licensed payroll employees and to allow the user to set a tolerance for a warning. You can also enable a check for the number of active employees, so that measures can be taken before year end if there are more employees in Greentree Desktop than are licensed.
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Licensed
Displays the number of active employees you are licensed for.
Warning Tolerance (%)
Enter the percentage of employees who you want the warning to advise you when your license is soon to be exceeded. For example, if you have 100 employees and want to be warned at 95 employees, enter 5 in this field.
Check Active
This option checks the number of active employees at a specified payment date. If the number of active employees is close to the next block of 100, you should increase the license for the number of active employees.
ODBC View
This section displays the status of the ODBC view for HR or payroll data.
