STP Tab

Sites that act as registered tax agents, which have a Greentree Desktop system with companies for whom they do STP reporting, must include agent information in STP lodgements. You can enter your registered agent information on the STP tab.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Lodge STP data as a registered agent

Select this option if you're a tax agent registered with the Australian Tax Office (ATO) and are doing STP reporting for companies.

Note: If you select this option, you also must enter the registered agent declaration on the Lodgement sub tab under HR > System > Module Control > Payroll.

Registered agent ABN

Enter your Australian Business Number.

Registered agent number

Enter your agent number, which enables you to electronically communicate with the ATO and to upload client tax information to the ATO.

Contact name

Enter the name of the person the ATO can contact if there's a problem or if the ATO needs more information.

Phone

Enter the contact's telephone number.

Enter the contact's email address, up to 200 characters.
