Planner Options

This form lists available data providers in the panel on the left.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Add Provider

Select the data provider by highlighting it, and then click this button to add the provider to the planner. For example, to add service requests by JC employee data provider, highlight it and click Add Provider.

When you add a data provider, a new tab displays on the form containing options to filter the data provider.

Note: You can add more than one data provider to the planner, as long as the same element is being displayed in the left column of the planner. Once a data provider is selected, an noGo icon displays next to any other data provider to indicate it is not compatible with the selected provider.

Remove Provider

Select the data provider and then click this button to remove the provider from the planner.

The table of properties displays all the settings available for the generic planner:

Working Calendar

Once a data provider is selected, you can select the working calendar to be assigned to this planner. This determines the way the time line displays, applying the business times and colours for standard, non-working, custom days and alternating intervals defined in the CRM working calendars.

Hide standard non working time

If you select this option, the planner will hide all days set as standard non-working. That is all days that are deselected on the main tab on the working calendar. If a working calendar is not selected, this setting has no effect.

Hide non working time

If you select this option, the planner will hide all days set as non-working. That is all days that are set as not working on the Non Working and Custom Dates tab, and any days set in linked Non-working Day Groups of the working calendar. If a working calendar is not selected, this setting has no effect.

Default Time Interval

Select the time interval that the planner time line uses on loading. Available options are:

  • 15 Mins
  • 30 Mins
  • Hourly
  • AM/PM
  • Days
  • Weeks

The interval can be changed when viewing the planner if Show Zoom is selected.

24 Hour clock

Applicable if the time interval is 15 Mins, 30 Mins, or Hourly. If you select this option, the times on the time line displays in 24-hour clock notation. If not selected, the times displays in 12-hour clock notation.

Allow 24 Hour clock change

If you select this option, when viewing the planner, users can change between 12-hour or 24-hour clock display. If not selected, the 24 Hour clock option is applied and cannot be changed from the planner.

End date

Enter the end date to define the date range for which to export the planner to Excel. Double-click the calendar icon to show the calendar month for date selection.
