Form Maintenance
Use this form to create forms that can be viewed by WebView users. Forms are linked to WebView pages using Page Maintenance.
You can access this form using Greentree Desktop's System > WebView menu.
Options Reference
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
WebView Form Designer has the same options as Greentree Desktop's Report Designer, with these exceptions:
Number of Fields
WebView is only able to display 10 columns across the page. The form opens displaying a grid, and each grid stores one field to display.
Field Properties > Main
You can type your own name into the Name field and save (click the blue disk). This creates a column heading to display when the form is viewed on the web.
Field Properties > WebView
Specify the width of a field when displayed on the web. This also creates a link to another page from the field when the form displays in the WebView module.
Column Width (px)
When you place a field on the form designer, do not drag it to the required length. Instead, set the length (in pixels) on the WebView tab.
A single character
is approximately seven pixels wide.
