Explorer

Explorer is a data query feature you can access using Maintenance, Data Entry, and Enquiry forms to view data stored in the Greentree database.

If you access Explorer by clicking the compass icon on the main toolbar, the Search Focus defaults based on the form from which the feature was launched.

If you can access Explorer using the File menu, the Search Focus does not default. There are some restrictions on the selection of sub-schema and custom classes.

Explorer respects any user access restrictions of the Advanced Security module if it is in use — for example, read-only access or limited drill down to current company only, and the like.
