Personnel Maintenance


Use this form to set up the people who are responsible for quality control, giving them access to record and/or approve tests using the Inventory Test Results Entry and Non-Inventory Test Results Entry forms.

You can flag personnel as being analysts and/or approvers.

Information

Not all QC personnel require a Greentree login user ID, so the Login user selection is optional. You can set up multiple personnel against a empty login so they are available as the analyst on test result entry forms using another user's login.

If the QC is assigned to person option is selected in QC Module Control, you can use this form to select the classification codes each analyst can record test results against and indicate which specific items they can analyse and/or approve.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Code

Enter a code to represent the person, up to 10 characters long. This must be unique if the QC Module Control option QC personnel code is unique option is selected.

Name

Enter a name to represent the person, up to 50 characters long.

Is analyst

Select this option to indicate the person can assign their name as the analyst recording individual test results using the result entry forms.

Is approver

Select this option to indicate the person can pass or fail all tests following completion of results by the analyst(s). A person can only be both an analyst and an approver if the Analyst can be approver option is selected in QC Module Control.

Team

Select the QC team the person belongs to. These are set up using Team Maintenance.

Login user

If the user has a Greentree user login, select the login associated with the person. If left blank, the person can still be selected as the analyst and/or approver in test result entry forms, but another user will be logged in.

If a user login is assigned here, only this person can be selected as the analyst and/or approver when this user is logged in.

Is active

Select this option to indicate the personnel record can be used in test results entry forms.

Notes

Enter notes about the person.

Classification form

This is enabled if the QC is assigned to person option is selected in QC Module Control. Classifications appear in this section, and you can select them based on which ones the person can complete or approve tests for.

Analyst inventory items form

This is enabled if the QC is assigned to person option is selected in QC Module Control. It indicates which items the person can complete tests for.

To assign an item, select it in the Unselected items section and drag and drop it into the Selected items section.

Analyst non-inventory objects form

This is enabled if the QC is assigned to person option is selected in QC Module Control. It is used to assign non-inventory items to the analyst to indicate which items the person can complete tests for. To assign an item, select it in the Unselected items section and drag/drop it into the Selected items section

InformationNon inventory items will only appear for selection if the Approval is required option is selected for the item in Non Inventory Test Maintenance.

Approve inventory items form

This is enabled if the QC is assigned to person option is selected in QC Module Control. It indicates which items the person can approve tests for. To assign an item, select it in the Unselected items section and drag/drop it into the Selected items section.

Approve non-inventory objects form

This is enabled if the QC is assigned to person option is selected in QC Module Control. It indicates which items the person can approve tests for. To assign an item, select it in the Unselected items section and drag/drop it into the Selected items section
