Inventory Transaction Entry

Use this form to enter transactions that are internal and do not involve a customer or supplier. It processes these types of transactions:

Adjustments
Location transfers
Job issues
Stocktake adjustments (these are generated by Greentree Desktop. but you can view them using this form)

Transaction types are defined in Transaction Type Maintenance. Any transaction type that is set up in this form can be selected for use during IN transaction entry. The transaction effect depends on the type used, for example, whether the transaction will increase or decrease inventory balances.

Information

Use the IN Transaction Entry Security form to set up security parameters with regard to user access to transaction types applied within this form.

If the option to Use batches is selected in Module Control, enter batch header details before accessing the transaction entry form.

If the inventory label printing feature is enabled, labels can be hotprinted from this form for transactions with an increasing or transfer effect on inventory.
