Warehouses: Configuration Prerequisites

Before starting to create warehouses, you should be sure that the needed feature has been enabled and the system has been configured properly, as described in the following sections.

Enabling the Needed Features

The ability to manage multiple warehouses in the system becomes available when you enable the Multiple Warehouses feature on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

Configuring the System

Before you create warehouses, you need to make sure that on the Inventory Preferences (IN101000) form, all required preferences have been configured. For details, see Configuration of Order Management: Implementation Activity.
