Managing Project Files: Implementation Checklist
The following sections provide details you can use to ensure that the system is configured properly for managing project files. You’ll also learn about the settings that affect the processing workflow so that you can make any needed changes.
Implementation Checklist
We recommend that before you start working with project files, you make sure that the needed features have been enabled, settings have been specified, and entities have been created. The following checklist summarizes the criteria you need to check.
| Form | Criteria to Check |
|---|---|
| Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) | Make sure that the Document Management feature is enabled. |
| File Tags (SM202560) | Make sure that all necessary tags have been created and access rights for each tag have been assigned to each user role. For details, see Managing Project Files: Tag and File Access Setup. |
| Project Tag Templates (PM204500) | Make sure that all necessary project tag templates have been created. For details, see Managing Project Files: Project Tag Templates. |
Other Settings That Affect the Workflow
You can give users the ability to autotag multiple project files by using AI. To do this, configure AI-powered autotagging, as described in Managing Project Files: AI-Powered File Autotagging.
