To Reverse Asset Disposal

If you specified disposal parameters incorrectly, or erroneously disposed of an asset, you can reverse disposal by using the Fixed Assets form.

To Reverse Asset Disposal

1. Open the Fixed Assets (FA303000) form.
2. In the Asset ID box, select the fixed asset whose disposal you want to reverse.
3. On the More menu (under Corrections), click Reverse Disposal.
4. In the Reverse Disposal Info dialog box, specify the financial period for the reverse of disposal.
5. Click OK.
6. Release the resulting transactions as directed by your company's workflow. For more information, see To Release a Fixed Asset Transaction.

The disposal of the asset is reversed; the status of the asset is changed to Active.
