This tab shows all the properties that you can search on.
Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.
Property
The properties that you can search on for this class.
You can add properties by clicking Select Property and dragging the property to the table. You can move properties in the table in any order by clicking the buttons on the right of the grid.
The order of the properties is important for Enterprise Search. If a match is found for more than one property, and none of the properties are in the display text, only the highest priority result is shown to the user when it is matched.
Note: Limit the number of properties included in the search index to keep the search results list manageable and meaningful. To remove properties from the table, highlight a row and press Shift-F2.
Display name
A name you can use to identify the property.
Enterprise Search and Bookmarks use the Display name to describe the record when it is found.
Reverse reference
This is the path back to the record and is populated by Greentree Desktop when you add a collection to the property search list.
Index type
Select:
You must enter an asterisk (*) in the search string when using this option. For example, if you're trying to find a supplier with dyne in its name, enter *dyne.
Companies
Select this option to define which companies this index applies to. The default is All.
Indexing
Click these buttons to open the Task Scheduler to assign a Enterprise Search indexing task. By default, the task runs outside of business hours but you can change it.
