Import a Macro into a VBA Application

You can use any VBA-compliant application to integrate with the external open feature.

To import a macro into Excel:

  1. Create a new worksheet, or open an existing one.
  2. Open the Visual Basic Editor either from the menu or by pressing ALT-F11.
  3. Click the VBAProject.
  4. Select Tools > References.
  5. Select the GreentreeInterface and click OK.
  6. From the menu, select File > Import File.
  7. Browse and select the .bas file created using VBA User Integration Settings.

When you have done this, the GT_Integration module is visible. You can use the VBA integration macros in this Excel worksheet.

  8. Close the Visual Basic Editor.

You can assign VBA integration macros to buttons or menu links in the Excel worksheet. For example, to assign a command for launching the AR Invoice Entry form, select Tools > Macro from the Excel menu. Select the macro to assign the command to and click Options.

Click OK to confirm. Press CTRL-A to open the AR Invoice Entry form using Excel.
