Security Group Maintenance


Use security groups (also known as web groups) to set up the options, display preferences, and security preferences for each web user. There must be at least one security group defined as the default group before any access is available to Webstore. If you are allowing anonymous users to use Webstore, they are assigned to the default group.

The most simple Webstore setup involves one security group, or two if anonymous access is enabled. Having multiple web groups is useful if there are many different levels of web user — for example, managers, employees, and partner companies.
