View Queue Processors Status

If you select the Current Status option at the top of the form and the Queue processor status option, you can see whether the Print & Task queues are running, how many jobs are in the queue, and the like.

You can select a processor to view using the option you select in the Queue processor selection box. The default option is All, which means you can select from a list of all processors.

When a processor is selected, status details displays. The Task queue processor status section shows whether or not the processor is running, whether it is the default processor, and whether it will delete jobs from the queue when they have finished.

The Start and stop control section enables you to start and stop the processors from this form. You can only do this if you are on the workstation that the processor is defined for.

Note: Even if you are on the same workstation that the processor is defined for, You cannot start or stop the processor if you are in thin client mode. You must be running fat client to enable the feature.

The Queue processor details section displays other details about this processor, such as the workstation name, the number of subprocessors, and the task classes that are assigned to the processor.

The Queue contents section displays how many tasks are in the queue, how many tasks are waiting to be processed, and how many subprocessors are free. If there are no free subprocessors, new tasks added to the queue must wait for a subprocessor to become available before they start processing.
