Delivery Details Tab

The Delivery Details tab contains the delivery address for the requisition.

Options Reference

Each option and field on the form is described below. Mandatory options and fields are highlighted in red.

Delivery Details based on

Delivery details display based on these options:

  • Company from the Company Maintenance form.
  • Branch from the Branch Maintenance form.
  • Stocking location assigned on the Main tab of the Requisition Entry form.
  • Other enables users to maintain the delivery address.

The Delivery Details option uses the default delivery address set on the Requisitions tab on the SCM Module Control form.

Note: Company, Branch, and Warehouse delivery details are read only. The address is used to consolidate requisitions into a single purchase order.

You can only update the Other Address. The Other Address is also used to consolidate requisitions into purchase orders, but the address text strings must be identical.

Delivery Name

Delivery Name defaults to the delivery name for these options:

  • Company - The Name field on the Main tab of the Company Maintenance form
  • Branch - The Name field on the Branch Maintenance form
  • Warehouse - The Name field on the Location Maintenance form
  • Other - No default. The delivery name displays only for:
    • Company
    • Branch
    • Warehouse

You can change delivery name if Other is selected.

Delivery Address

Delivery Address defaults to the delivery address for these options:

  • Company - The Address field on the Main tab of the Company Maintenance form
  • Branch - The Address field on the Branch Maintenance form
  • Warehouse - The Address field on the Location Maintenance form
  • Other - No default. The delivery address displays only for:
    • Company
    • Branch
    • Warehouse

You can change Delivery Address if Other is selected.

Delivery Post Code

Delivery Post Code defaults to the delivery post code for these options:

  • Company - The Post Code field on the Main tab of the Company Maintenance form
  • Branch - The Post Code field on the Branch Maintenance form
  • Warehouse - The Post Code field on the Location Maintenance form
  • Other - No default. The delivery post code displays only for:
    • Company
    • Branch
    • Warehouse

You can change Delivery Post Code if Other is selected.

Contact Person

This field defaults to the current user.

Phone Number

This field defaults to the phone number for the company on the Main tab of the Company Maintenance form.

Email

This field defaults to the email address for the current user on the User Preferences form.

Requested Date

This field defaults to the requested date on the Main tab.

Shipped Date

This field defaults to requested date. Update this field to the date on which the requisition was sent.

Despatch Notes

Enter text about the shipment of the requisition.
